Expectation can be a difficult experience to master. German psychoanalyst Fritz Perls took a negative view when he said, “I am not in this world to live up to other people's expectations, nor do I feel that the world must live up to mine.” While we should not be dominated by the expectations of others, we must abide by human mores, customs, and laws to peacefully and responsibly co-exist with others.
I believe I am destined to communicate to my generation before I close my eyes to the sleep of death. I invite and hope you will subscribe, follow, and read the pages of the medium on regular basis. There must be an understanding that quality content will be provided and integrity within the writer must be maintained. Ralph Marston wrote, “Don't lower your expectations to meet your performance. Raise your level of performance to meet your expectations. Expect the best of yourself, and then do what is necessary to make it a reality.”
This blog will seek to empower, educate, entertain, and encourage you to quality living. Expect rich content, accurate communication, occasional comedy, and provocative counsel. Will the blog be successful? I expect it to be. A.A. Milne (creator of Winnie the Pooh) said, “Time is swift, it races by; Opportunities are born and die... Still you wait and will not try - A bird with wings who dares not rise and fly.” Lord wills…see you soon!
