The Keys To Raising You To Another Level

Do you sometimes find yourself a bit pessimistic, apathetic about folks, or even a bit negative about yourself or people? Problems often occur on the way up to promotion. The next time you experience these feelings remember these three important actions to take.

First, BELIEVE in other people FIRST. Some people we know do not attempt positive changes. However, do not appoint yourself judge of their possibility of change. Mentally write a number 10 over their heads and believe that they can and will do better.

Second, start to SEE and DO so that as they see them. An ancient American Indian proverb reminds us not to judge someone until we have walked a day in his or her moccasins (shoes). People’s unreasonable, irrational, and irritating behavior can be understood by recognition of their personal hurts, hang-ups, and habits. If you have been through what they have been through, would you be much different?

Third, NOTICE little by little, your own belief, in yourself will start to grow! The key is that it is impossible to behave in a manner inconsistent with the way you see yourself. Ephesians 6:8, in the Bible, helps us to know, our reactions to others will be God’s reactions to us. You cannot lift others up without first raising yourself to another level.

Let’s talk again soon.

What you can expect?

Expectation can be a difficult experience to master. German psychoanalyst Fritz Perls took a negative view when he said, “I am not in this world to live up to other people's expectations, nor do I feel that the world must live up to mine.” While we should not be dominated by the expectations of others, we must abide by human mores, customs, and laws to peacefully and responsibly co-exist with others.

I believe I am destined to communicate to my generation before I close my eyes to the sleep of death. I invite and hope you will subscribe, follow, and read the pages of the medium on regular basis. There must be an understanding that quality content will be provided and integrity within the writer must be maintained. Ralph Marston wrote, “Don't lower your expectations to meet your performance. Raise your level of performance to meet your expectations. Expect the best of yourself, and then do what is necessary to make it a reality.”

This blog will seek to empower, educate, entertain, and encourage you to quality living. Expect rich content, accurate communication, occasional comedy, and provocative counsel. Will the blog be successful? I expect it to be. A.A. Milne (creator of Winnie the Pooh) said, “Time is swift, it races by; Opportunities are born and die... Still you wait and will not try - A bird with wings who dares not rise and fly.” Lord wills…see you soon!
